They don't go out of style, they don't get outdated, they're always worth good money and they're incredibly well built. They're so expensive and everywhere because demand is extremely high. Short of Patek and AP, Rolex is the most desirable watch brand on the planet. Rolex tends to be overrated in my opinion. Personally, I vastly prefer Omegas, Breitlings, and VCs.
