I am trying to date a Breitling Navitimer. Pix to follow. The face is all black, marked as follows: under the 12: Breitling in script; under that is the gold AOPA wings logo. At the very bottom, under the 6: SWISS MADE in tiny type. There is no NAVITIMER on the face. Works perfect and it was a Breitling Service Centre that showed me how to do it.
